If you're concerned about your hearing, you can take our simple online hearing test. It only takes 5 minutes. The hearing test will suggest if your hearing is normal or if you may have hearing loss.
This hearing check is not the same as a full hearing test carried out by a Hearing Aid Audiologist, but it’s a quick and reliable way to assess your hearing and find out if you need to visit an expert.
Common signs of hearing loss
Do you have trouble following conversation? Do noises bother you? Do you frequently ask people to repeat themselves? If so, you may be missing important sounds and not know it.
Fortunately, with our quick hearing check, you’ll be able to find out if you need a full hearing assessment.
What you will need for your online hearing test
For your online hearing check you will need:
Headphones, either in-ear or on-ear, as there will be a variety of sounds played
To ensure you are in a quite place before starting the test to get the most accurate results possible
What our online hearing check includes
The online hearing test is divided into two parts, which include:
A short questionnaire about your hearing in different scenarios to give you an idea of how well you are hearing
Checking your hearing at low, mid and high-level frequencies, helping us to understand your hearing threshold for each tone
At the end of the test, you’ll receive the results, as well as our recommended next steps. Whatever the results, if you have any concerns with your hearing, simply book a free hearing check at your nearest M&S Opticians.
