I have never worn contact lenses before, how do I begin?
Simply contact your nearest M&S Opticians and they'll be able to book you in for a free contact lens assessment.
I have already had an eye test, do I need a contact lens appointment as well?
Yes, it's important to attend both appointments, as they focus on different things. At a contact lens appointment, the Optician will assess your vision in your contact lenses, check the health of the front of your eyes as well as other specific elements to contact lenses. At your eye test, the Optician determines your prescription for your glasses and how well you can see with that prescription in place.
Can I join Lensplan online?
No, currently you can't join Lensplan online. If you're interested in our Lensplan scheme, please find your nearest M&S Opticians and they'll be able to assist you further.
What do I do if I split my lens?
You can not wear a lens that is cracked or damaged. You will need to dispose of the lens and wear another one. If you need a replacement please contact our customer care team.
Can children wear contact lenses?
Yes, contact lenses can be a great option for children. It gives them flexibility and freedom, whether they are playing sports or studying in school.
I have dry eyes, will I be able to wear contact lenses?
Yes, due to the advances in technology even people with drier eyes can benefit from contact lenses.
Can contact lenses get lost in my eye?
To put the answer simply, no. Contact Lenses float on the front surface of the eye and can not get lost behind the eye.
