How does Meta AI work?

Cameras, microphones and sensors can capture your surroundings. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connect the glasses to your phone through the Meta app. Get real time info, suggestions and reminders. Ask your glasses for restaurant recommendations, translate menus and call your friends all from your glasses.

Voice activation allows you to control all features through a simple prompt: ‘Hey Meta’ and ask it whatever you want:

• Call Mum
• Where’s the nearest restaurant?

Meta AI glasses are designed with privacy and usability in mind. When capturing photos or videos, a small LED light on the frame automatically illuminates to signal that recording is in progress. This helps ensure transparency for those around you. You can use both manual buttons on the frame to capture as well as using voice commands such as ‘Hey Meta, take a picture’.

Meta AI glasses can be managed through the Meta AI app. The app is how you set up your glasses. You can import photos and videos, learn about your glasses' features and manage your privacy settings, including connecting to your messaging and social apps.
