Virtual Try-on

Virtual Try-on

What is Virtual Try-On?

‘Virtual Try-On’ is a simple tool that does an incredible thing. It enables you to try-on any of our glasses from any of our collections, including designer, in the comfort of your own home. Plus it takes less than a minute to set up.

If you would like more information about how ‘Virtual Try-On’ works check out our simple 3-step guide below.

Step 1 – Face capture

The first and most important step, taking a 180 degree video of your face. To ensure we get the best results possible we recommend you stand in front of a plain background. There are guides on the screen along with verbal prompts to make the process quick and easy.

Step 2 – Scale capture

To make sure we get the scale and proportions of your face and features correct you’ll need a generic plastic card e.g. rewards card, ID, or any card of this size. These types of cards are a standardised size and will only be used as a reference object to calculate your facial dimensions.

It’s important you use the correct sized card or it will not give you an accurate representation of how the glasses will look.

Step 3 – Try-on

The third and final step is to enjoy trying our glasses on! You’ll now be able to select any of our glasses and instantly see how they look. You’ll be able to move your head around to get a 180 degree perspective to ensure they are the glasses for you.

Top tip - If at any point you would like to remove your photo from the website, simply click the virtual try-on icon on any pair of glasses, and it will give you the option to ‘forget my scan’.
