Our goodwill returns policy, which is in addition to your statutory rights, entitles you to a refund or exchange for an item bought in store with a valid receipt within 35 days of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights which are set out below.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your experience at M&S Opticians. If you have any concerns within 35 days from the date of purchase, we will put it right without any questions or concern, all you will need is return the goods with your receipt in the same condition as they were purchased, if you prefer to select alternative products which are higher in price you’ll just need to pay the difference.
Our glasses have a two year manufacturing warranty; you should check your glasses when you collect them to ensure you are happy with the product quality. If after wearing your glasses you notice that there is a fault or your glasses break due to a manufacturing fault you should return them to us. We will assess the glasses and confirm if the issue is within our warranty. If so, we will replace or repair the glasses for you free of charge.
However if the fault is not deemed a manufacturing fault (for example, mechanical damage such as scratches, chips, bent or broken frame or the effects of chemicals or heat) we will advise the best course of action and cost to repair or replace the damaged product.
You also have certain statutory rights in relation to the products you purchase. The timelines below will start from the date of purchase.
